Jesus said, "Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4). We try to prepare a feast of God's Word at every one of our services. Jesus also said, "These are the Scriptures that testify about me" (John 5:39), so Christ and him crucified for us are at the center of worship. Our services consist of carefully selected Scripture readings, a rich variety of Christian songs both old and new, and a personal message from our pastor explaining and proclaiming what the Lord says. The "visible Word" of Baptism and Holy Communion also appear regularly.

Services are designed with the whole family in mind. Believers of all ages will grow in faith; visitors will meet Jesus and his powerful grace. Everyone is invited. Our Savior invites you: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Bringing your young children is important, and letting them hear the gospel will only benefit them. If your young ones are getting restless, we have busy bags and a mother’s room to help. And, as Pastor says frequently in church, “I can talk louder than a little one can scream!”

The Bible says, “Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7). The members of St. Mark are committed to supporting the work of their congregation through offerings.  Our guests and visitors, however, should not feel compelled to give any kind of monetary donation or offering. We’re simply happy to have you with us.
